The representation on maps serves as first information and as current weather alert on potential dangers caused by various natural hazards such as flood, earthquake, storm, hail, snow, etc.

eHYD Hydrographic data
The map shows where the Austrian Hydrographical Service monitors the most important components of the water cycle. Selected sets of data are offered as downloads for many years.

Flood hazard maps and risk maps
The maps show areas of Potential Significant Flood Risk, the inundation areas caused by floods with a high, medium and low probability and associated process intensities like water depth and flow velocities as well as the risk maps, which visualise the impacts on different assets.

The maps show urban waste-water treatment plants with a capacity above 2,000 PE60 in Austria, natural and artificial lakes larger than 50 hectares as well as the Austrian bathing waters.
