Water and Data (WISA)
The Water Information System Austria - WISA is the central platform through which access to data and information about the Austrian water industry is to be made possible.
Timetable and work programme in implementing the European Unions Floods Directive
The timetable and the work programme, including the planned consultation measures, are presented in greater detail below.
H2O Expert data base
From this database the results of the monitoring of the water status in Austria (rivers, lakes, and groundwater) and the isotopes can be retrieved.
HORA Hazards / natural hazards
The representation on maps serves as first information and as current weather alert on potential dangers caused by various natural hazards such as flood, earthquake, storm, hail, snow, etc.
eHYD Hydrographic data
The map shows where the Austrian Hydrographical Service monitors the most important components of the water cycle. Selected sets of data are offered as downloads for many years.
hydJB - Evaluation of the Hydrographical Almanac
Here the evaluations of the Austrian Hydrographical Almanac from 2014 onwards are available for download.
Flood hazard maps and risk maps
The maps show areas of Potential Significant Flood Risk, the inundation areas caused by floods with a high, medium and low probability and associated process intensities like water depth and flow velocities as well as the risk maps, which visualise the impacts on different assets.
The maps show urban waste-water treatment plants with a capacity above 2,000 PE60 in Austria, natural and artificial lakes larger than 50 hectares as well as the Austrian bathing waters.
