What Happens to Collected Waste?
Collected packaging waste is both recyclable and valuable, and can be processed to create new products.
On 30 November 2010, the application “eVerbringung” (electronic system for shipments of waste) was activated in the EDM (Electronic Data Management) for businesses.
Since 12 July 2007, Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2006 on shipments of waste (EC Waste Shipment R, OJ L 190 of 12 July 2006) has to be applied to transboundary shipments of waste.
